Product designer & AI builder
Hi, I’m
Busayo Omidiji.
I’m a product designer and AI builder based in Lagos, Nigeria. I work with startups and founders on digital products, from understanding the problem and designing in Figma to building a working experience with AI tools.
My work moves between food, safety, creative tools, fashion, and the web. The common thread? Making that first interaction feel like someone really thought about you.

My working philosophy
Good design starts
with good questions.
Four things I come back to.
Ask the awkward questions.
Before a layout, I want to understand the business, the people it serves, and where the experience quietly breaks down. The brief is a starting point, not the answer.
Let constraints into the room.
Real platforms. Real engineering effort. Real edge cases. Useful design works with those things from the beginning, not after the presentation.
Make it. Then make it better.
I prototype early to make assumptions tangible. A rough interaction can teach us more than another meeting about how it should feel.
Care all the way to shipped.
The handoff is not the finish line. I stay close to the build, sweat the small details, and keep asking whether the experience still makes sense.
And when the laptop closes…
I play games, I can cook, and I like being around people.
